FAQs
Never done pilates before? That’s OK! Here’s some things to know before reaching out:
✦ I'm a beginner. Pilates seems hard. Can I really start here?
Yes! Pilates truly is for every body. Whether you’re a professional athlete or completely new to physical activity, working together we can build a pilates routine that’s right for you.
✦ Can I borrow a mat?
For group classes, it’s always best to have your own. Preferably a thick one to protect your back when we roll around on the ground. I do have mats to borrow should you need one.
As for Privates, no mat is necessary. We will use the full complement of Pilates equipment in the studio.
✦ I have an injury. can I still do pilates?
Let’s talk about it! Pilates was created to help people strengthen their mind and body, and recover from certain injuries. It’s possible pilates could be a good thing for your injury, but we’ll want to be sure. Send me an email today and let’s talk about it!

“No better Pilates teacher around, I can tell you that much. Kerri is accepting, open, funny, and talented, and knows how to tailor my sessions so that I’m pushed right to the edge of my comfort zone. How she does that I’ll never know. I never thought I'd be into Pilates, but Kerri has converted me, changing how I think about how I move my body in almost every way.”
